Zainab Sharmeen Khan M.ed

Zainab Sharmeen Khan holds a Master's degree in Teaching and Learning with a focus on Urban Education from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Currently serving as Education Manager at AJ Tutoring since October 2021, Zainab previously worked as Impact Manager at City Year and as an AP Biology and Advanced Health Teacher at Dallas Independent School District, where exceptional lesson planning resulted in significant district score improvements. Zainab has extensive experience in educational roles, including Operations Specialist at Teach For America, where support for new teachers was a key focus, and various positions involving student engagement and community building, notably as Co Director for the Asian Pacific American Coalition.
