Phil Montoya

Phil Montoya is a highly experienced Senior Staff Software Engineer with extensive expertise in driver software development across various platforms. Currently employed at AJA Video Systems since August 2004, Phil develops kernel drivers for Mac, Windows, and Linux, as well as user-level SDK APIs and plugin modules for industry-standard software such as Apple Quicktime and Adobe Premier. Prior to this role, Phil held senior engineering positions at Pinnacle Systems, Scitex Digital Video, SuperMac Technology, Applied Engineering, and The Byte Works Inc., contributing to video server driver development, interface software for digital video effects engines, and low-level driver development for video accelerator products.
