Patricia Chen has over 19 years of experience in research and development in the medical device field. Patricia began their career in 2002 as a Graduate Research Assistant at Boston University and an Intern at House Research Institute. From 2004 to 2006, they worked at Global Prior Art as a Senior Associate. At Boston Scientific, they held the roles of R&D Manager, Senior R&D Engineer, and R&D Engineer II from 2006 to 2015. In 2015, they joined EPIX Therapeutics, Inc. as R&D Manager and Principal R&D Engineer until it was acquired by Medtronic in March 2019. At Medtronic, they were R&D Site Leader and Sr. Engineering Manager, and was the Chief Systems Engineer for the DiamondTemp system. Currently, they are R&D Director at Ajax Health.
Patricia Chen earned a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University, followed by an MS in Biomedical Engineering from the same university.
