Kunio Yanagisawa

Kunio Yanagisawa is an experienced legal professional specializing in intellectual property law and corporate legal matters. Currently serving as In-House Counsel in the IP Department at Ajinomoto Co., Inc. since January 2019, Kunio focuses on IP contract review and negotiation, legal advice on competition and copyright law, and dispute resolution. Prior to this role, Kunio worked as In-House Counsel at AKEBONO BRAKE INDUSTRY CO LTD, handling contract negotiation and various legal advisories from January 2016 to December 2018. Kunio also completed a legal apprenticeship at the Legal Training and Research Institute of the Supreme Court of Japan. Academically, Kunio holds an LL.M. in Technology and Entrepreneurship Law from USC Gould School of Law and a Juris Doctor from Chuo Law School, in addition to a Bachelor's degree from Chuo University.
