Derek Arevalo

Derek Arevalo is a skilled packaging engineer with extensive experience in the packaging industry, currently employed at AJM Packaging Corporation since November 2021. Previously, Derek served as a corrugated designer at Michigan Box Company, where responsibilities included utilizing computer design tools to create cost-effective packaging solutions and maintaining customer communication throughout the design process. Derek's earlier roles included working as a packaging design intern and quality technician at Pratt Industries, where tasks involved conducting production meetings and developing packaging solutions for major automotive clients, and as a press operator intern at Graphic Packaging International, where engagement in a fast-paced environment was essential. Derek holds a Bachelor's of Design from Wayne State University and has previously studied Graphic Printing Sciences and Packaging Science at Western Michigan University.
