Mehmet Ilgen

Mehmet Ilgen is a seasoned finance professional with over two decades of experience in trading and sales. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Trading at AK YATIRIM MENKUL DEĞERLER A.Ş. since April 2012, Mehmet specializes in equity and derivatives sales and trading for both foreign and local institutional clients. Previously, from March 1998 to April 2012, Mehmet held the position of Director of Trading at Ata Invest, where the focus was on foreign institutional clients, including Tier-1 investment banks and hedge funds. Mehmet's educational background includes an Executive MBA from Sabanci University and Executive Education courses at Columbia Business School, emphasizing negotiation skills and leadership, along with a degree from Istanbul Bilgi University.
