Joerg Hoermann

Joerg Hoermann is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in structured trade and commodity finance. Currently serving as Director of Structured Trade & Commodity Finance at AKA Ausfuhrkredit-Gesellschaft mbH since October 2016, Joerg focuses on transaction management and business development across various finance solutions. Previous roles include Team Head of Structured Finance in Credit Risk Management at WestLB, where Joerg oversaw loan portfolios in Project Finance and Export Finance, and Managing Director of Rabo Trading at Rabobank, managing structured inventory solutions for the European food and agriculture sector. Joerg's extensive career also includes positions as Director of Acquisition Finance at AIB and Vice President of Leveraged Finance at Rabobank. Joerg began a professional journey in commercial management at Cargill and holds degrees in Economics and Agricultural Engineering from Kiel University, along with ongoing education at INSEAD.
