Lars Jerkland

Lars Jerkland is an accomplished business development leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as the Business Development Director at Akamai Technologies since January 2021, Lars focuses on establishing strategic partnerships and exploring new technologies within the Security Technology Group. Previously, as Vice President of Business Development at Asavie from November 2015 to December 2020, Lars specialized in developing technology partnerships for mobile networks and security for IoT and enterprise mobility. Lars has held various managerial positions at Google from 2007 to 2015, leading sales strategies for Google Cloud Platform and Google Maps for Business. Earlier in their career, Lars was a Regional Manager and Sales Manager at Oracle, contributing to the establishment of the Nordic technology center and the alignment of regional sales teams. Lars holds a Diploma in Statistics from Umeå University and furthered education at INSEAD.
