Lauren van Wazer

Lauren Van Wazer currently serves as Vice President of Global Public Policy and Regulatory Affairs at Akamai Technologies, where responsibilities include establishing a public policy function and overseeing global regulatory affairs. In addition, Lauren is a member of the Board of Directors for Ossia Inc. and Georgetown University's Board of Visitors. Previous roles include Chair of the Board of Directors for the Information Technology Industry Council and Assistant Director for Cybersecurity at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Educational qualifications include a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and a BSE in Systems Science Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
