Marc McDonnell

Marc McDonnell serves as the Vice President of Corporate and Business Development in Cybersecurity for Akamai Technologies since May 2021, leading corporate development initiatives for the ~$2B revenue Security Technology Group. Areas of expertise include Zero Trust, various security domains, and managing significant acquisitions such as Noname, Neosec, and Guardicore. Prior to Akamai, Marc held the position of Head of Corporate Development at Honeywell Connected Enterprise, focusing on strategic transactions for a $2B industrial software business. Additional experience includes a tenure as Director of Corporate Development at Microsoft, where numerous high-profile acquisitions were executed, and previous roles in private equity and investment banking. Marc holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Accounting and Finance from Boston College.
