Nabeel Akhtar

Nabeel Akhtar is a seasoned professional in performance engineering, currently serving as a Senior II Performance Engineer at Akamai Technologies since October 2019, where the focus is on developing mathematical models for traffic routing and congestion prediction within the network. Previously, Nabeel held various positions including Research Assistant at Boston University, working on multiple projects related to serverless computing and virtualization, and contributing to the design of an anomaly detection system as a Research Intern at Akamai. Nabeel has also served as a Research Scientist at Create-Net, developing algorithms for 5G network management. Nabeel holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Boston University, a Master’s degree from Koç University, and a Bachelor's degree from Lahore University of Management Sciences.
