Oren Shpigel

Oren Shpigel is a seasoned technology professional currently serving as a Principal Architect at Akamai Technologies since June 2024. Previously, Oren held the position of Director of Technology at Noname Security from March 2020 until its acquisition by Akamai. Oren's career also includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at iCarbonX and as a Software Engineer at Via - On-Demand Transit. Earlier experience encompasses research and development positions at Resonai and the Israeli Defense Forces, where Oren was a researcher, developer, and team leader in the Intelligence Technological Unit. Oren commenced the professional journey as a Student Software Engineer at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems. Oren holds an M.B.A. and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
