Alexander Perel

Alexander Perel has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Alexander is currently working as the SVP Head of Finance at Akbank AG, where they provide strategic and operational leadership in finance and asset and liabilities management. Prior to this, they co-founded Fixario GmbH, focusing on technology and business development. In 2022, Alexander founded Bonifatus, a web portal that rewards children for good grades using a proprietary school notes bonus calculator. Alexander also has prior experience at PwC Deutschland, where they served as a Senior Manager in Financial Services Advisory and Capital Markets. Additionally, Alexander worked at Deutsche Bank in roles such as Finance Analytics Director, Director of Business Performance Monitoring and Measurement, Senior Financial Control Manager, and Finance Director. Alexander started their career as a Senior Accountant at Arthur Andersen and co-founded April Internet.

Alexander Perel completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Haifa, where they studied from 1996 to 2001. Prior to that, they worked on some college courses in Mathematics and Computer Science at the Saint Petersburg State Marine Technical University from 1989 to 1993. In addition to their formal education, Alexander obtained various certifications throughout their career. Alexander became a Certified Public Accountant from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel in May 2002. Recently, in August 2021, they achieved the Google Ads Apps Certification. Additionally, they obtained the Venture Deals Spring 2021 certification from NovoEd and acquired the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org in the same year.
