Meredith Bowman

Meredith Bowman joined Akebia in October 2016 and is Senior Vice President, People. Prior to assuming the role of SVP, People, she held several leadership roles of increasing responsibility within the People organization, most recently managing the People Business Partners and Talent teams. Before joining Akebia, from 2010 through 2016, Ms. Bowman held various key positions supporting the global commercial and research and development teams at Genzyme, a Sanofi Company, where she worked closely with senior management to effectively translate business strategies into successful human resources programs. Ms. Bowman earned a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
