Michael Donovan

Michael Donovan has extensive experience in the field of information security. Michael currently holds the position of Sr. Director Information Security at Akebia Therapeutics, where they are responsible for establishing a comprehensive security program in response to the Covid pandemic. Prior to this, they worked as a Strategic Advisor at Cyber Job Central and as a Sr Cloud Security Consultant at Quicken Loans. Their previous roles also include positions at Takeda as Director Information Security Technology, Shire as Sr. Security Architect, Genta as VP of Information Technology and Director of Security & Systems Engineering, Schering Plough as Sr. Security Engineer and Systems Architect, and ICSC as Security Engineer & Information Security Specialist. Michael also obtained a Certificate in Network Engineering and Data Communications from The Chubb Institute in 1999.
