Kees van de Watering has extensive work experience in various engineering and leadership roles. Kees is currently serving as the VP Process Engineering - Protein Human Nutrition at Aker BioMarine since March 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Cargill from 1999 to 2020, holding positions such as Engineering Standards and Utility Technology Leader EMEA, Technology development project manager Clean Biomass Combustion, Engineering Best Practice Leader, and Team leader Research & Development. Kees also worked as an R&D project engineer and process modeler, as well as an engineering project manager and lead engineer during their time at Cargill. Before joining Cargill, they worked at Fluor (Fluor Daniel Consultants) as a Lead process engineer and project manager from 1997 to 1999, and at Agrotechnological Research institute (ATO-DLO) as a Project manager process and product development from 1993 to 1997.
Kees van de Watering obtained their Master of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Twente between 1983 and 1990.
