Øyvind Våge began their work experience in 2007 at Aker BioMarine Antarctic as a Quality Controller. Øyvind then moved on to become a Production Scientist and later a Director of QA & QC. In 2012, they joined Aker BioMarine ASA as the Vice President of Production, a position they held until 2021 when they became the VP of Supply Chain Operations. Currently, Øyvind is serving as the Head of Operations for Protein Human Nutrition at Aker BioMarine ASA.
Øyvind Våge has a Master's degree in Food Technology from the University of Newcastle, which they obtained from 2003 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Næringsmiddelteknologi from Sør-Trøndelag University College (HiST) from 1998 to 2002.
