Eigil Gulliksen

Eigil Gulliksen, MD, MPA has extensive work experience in the medical field. Currently, they serve as the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Head of Global Health at Aker Solutions, where their responsibilities include protecting and promoting the health of employees and implementing systems to mitigate health risks. Prior to this role, they worked as a Medical Advisor at Statens jernbanetilsyn. Eigil also served as the Managing Director at Avonova Group, where they focused on transforming health services and incorporating technology and data to improve outcomes. Before that, they worked as a Medical Doctor and an occupational health physician at Stamina Helse AS. Additionally, Gulliksen has experience working in the Norwegian Armed Forces, where they held various leadership positions and served as a medical advisor. Eigil also worked as a Senior Medical Officer in ISAF, providing medical force protection and health services. Eigil began their medical career as a Medical Doctor at SØRREISA KOMMUNE and Sykehuset Innlandet.

Eigil Gulliksen, MD, MPA has an extensive education history. Eigil obtained a Bachelor of Medicine (M.D) degree from the University of Oslo in 1997. Subsequently, in 2004, they pursued a Specialist Occupational and Environmental Health degree from The Norwegian Medical Association. In 2008, they earned a Diploma in Flight Surgeon from the United States Army Aviation Warfighting Center. In 2002, they completed a Post Graduate Course in Crisis Management from the University of South-Eastern Norway.

In 2014 and 2015, Eigil attended the Harvard Kennedy School, where they obtained a Master of Public Administration (MC/MPA) degree focused on Leadership. Eigil further enhanced their public administration knowledge by completing another Master of Public Administration (MPA) program at Harvard Kennedy School in the same years. Lastly, in 2019, Eigil pursued a Senior Executive Course in Defense and Security Policy at Forsvarets høgskole (FHS).
