Thomas Raanes Haugan

Thomas Raanes Haugan currently holds the position of Vice President of Project Management at Aker Solutions since November 2020, where Thomas also leads the Brevik Carbon Capture EPC Project. Previously, Thomas served as Vice President of Business Development at Kvaerner and Aibel, where responsibilities included establishing joint ventures and partnerships to enhance project capabilities. Thomas's experience also includes a role as Business Manager at Wilhelmsen Ships Service, overseeing a diverse product portfolio and optimizing logistics. Earlier in their career, Thomas held financial and engineering positions at Aker Solutions and Life Technologies, focusing on cost optimization and process development. Thomas's educational background includes Master’s degrees in Chemical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and the University of Queensland, along with a Master's degree from ETH's Automatic Control Laboratory.
