Meagan Anderson-Pira has a diverse work experience spanning different sectors and roles. Meagan began their career in 1999 at the Children's Home Society of Washington as a Program Manager, where they managed various programs for a period of six years. In 2005, they joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Senior Consultant II, providing expert consultation services until 2010. Following their time at Booz Allen Hamilton, Meagan returned to the Children's Home Society of Washington in 2010, where they served as the Community Director, overseeing the operations of the community office and engaging in activities such as supervision, fundraising, and strategic planning. In 2021, they took on the role of Director of Early Learning, responsible for the growth and quality of early learning programs. In 2022, Meagan was promoted to Chief Early Learning Officer, leading the organization's statewide early learning programs and focusing on providing quality family-led services.
Meagan Anderson-Pira completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Early Childhood Education from Fairhaven College in 1993. Following that, they went on to earn their Master's degree in Experimental Psychology from Western Washington University between 1994 and 1996.
