Ben Black

Ben Black is the Co-Founder and Managing Director at Akkadian Ventures. Prior to this, they were a General Partner at New Cycle Capital from January 2007 to November 2011, where they made seven investments - most notably Opower. Ben has also served on the Board of Directors for The Villa from November 2005 to December 2012, where they helped recapitalize and grow the company. Additionally, they have been a Member of Full Circle Club from January 2001 to January 2009, and an Investor at Maveron from March 2003 to December 2006.

Ben Black began their educational career by studying Government as an undergraduate at Cornell University. Ben then went on to study Law at Cornell Law School, where they obtained their Juris Doctor degree.
