Sabrina Moisan

Sabrina Moisan has a strong background in downstream process development for gene therapy vectors, particularly AAV gene therapy vectors. Sabrina has experience in developing robust and scalable purification processes, including affinity chromatography, ion exchange chromatography, and empty and full capsid separation. Sabrina has worked on various production scales and has knowledge of column packing, AKTA systems, and Unicorn software. Sabrina has also optimized elution conditions to improve affinity chromatography recoveries. Additionally, Sabrina has experience in vector production, including transfection, harvest, purification, and formulation. Sabrina has performed tech transfer to contract manufacturing organizations (CDMOs) and has been involved in writing SOPs, batch records, and training materials. Sabrina has held senior-level roles, including as a Senior PD Engineer at Akouos, a Scientist at Frontera Therapeutics, and a Senior Research Associate at Voyager Therapeutics, Inc. Prior to that, they gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Florida and held multiple research assistant positions at Texas A&M University and Texas A&M Genomics and Bioinformatics Services.
