Thomas Flynn

Thomas Flynn serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Girls' Learning Trust, overseeing the education of over 4,500 students and managing a turnover exceeding £30 million with a staff of 500. Flynn has held multiple leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, and is actively involved as a Governor and Corporation Board Member at Newham College of Further Education. Additionally, Flynn provides consultancy services through Atkinson HR Consulting, specializing in governance and strategy for charities. As a Trustee and Director for various organizations, including akt and Oxford Brookes Students’ Union, Flynn contributes to governance, finance, and strategic initiatives. Flynn's previous positions include Managing Director at Imperial College Union and Chief Executive Officer at Royal Holloway Students' Union. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Politics and Economics from the University of York and a PGDip/MSc in Charity Accounting and Financial Management from Bayes Business School.
