Brad Wheat

Brad Wheat has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the sales engineering and solution architecture sector. Brad is currently the Director of Sales Engineering at Aktana. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Manager of Solution Engineering at Okta, Inc. where they were responsible for driving sales engineering leadership and mentoring diverse teams. Before that, Brad worked at Salesforce in several roles including Senior Strategic Account Executive, Senior Director of Digital Transformation & Innovation, Director of Platform Solution Engineering, and Manager of the Platform Architect Team. Brad also gained significant experience at Sun Microsystems as an Identity Management Principal and at Waveset as a Solution Architect. In addition, Brad worked as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting and as an Independent Contractor for Traconi. Brad started their career as a Professional Services Consultant/Architect at Moai Technologies.

Brad Wheat attended Southern Methodist University from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Finance and Political Science. From 1998 to 1999, they briefly attended Arizona State University, studying Computer Science.
