Serkan Yilmaz

Serkan Yilmaz has a strong background in database management and data governance. Serkan is currently working as the Data Management Team Lead at Aktif Tech Teknoloji A.Ş, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this, Serkan worked at Aktif Bank for over a decade, where they held various roles including DBA&Data Governance Manager, Manager Database Administration, and Senior Database Administrator. At Aktif Bank, they were responsible for managing all databases, reporting systems, and data models of the bank and its subsidiaries. Before joining Aktif Bank, Serkan worked at TEB as an Oracle Database Administrator, where they installed and managed Oracle, SQL Server, and Sybase databases. Overall, Serkan brings extensive experience in database administration and data management to their current role.

Serkan YILMAZ completed their undergraduate education from 2000 to 2004 at Trakya University, where they earned a degree with a GPA of 3.1 out of 4 in the field of Computer Engineering. In October 2019, they obtained an EDB Postgres Advanced Server 11 Associate Certification from EnterpriseDB.
