Jens Kristian Roland

Jens Kristian Roland has extensive work experience in the field of security and infrastructure. Jens Kristian is currently the Director of Security & Infrastructure (SVP) at AKVA group, where they lead the development and implementation of security measures for industrial control systems. Prior to this, Jens worked as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Lyse and as a Senior Manager in IT Risk and Assurance at EY, specializing in cyber security, risk assessment, and privacy. Jens Kristian also has experience as a Senior Digital Forensic Consultant at SecureTech LLC, a Security Consultant at Bouvet ASA, and a Detective Superintendent at the Rogaland Police Department and the National Criminal Investigation Service in Norway. Additionally, Jens served as an adviser for the FBI and Fordham University's International Conference on Cyber Security and had a role at Interpol. Jens began their career as a Police Inspector at the Romerike Police Department, specializing in high tech crime.

Jens Kristian Roland has a diverse educational background in the field of information security and digital forensics. Jens Kristian obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Politihøgskolen in 1999. Later, they pursued a Master's Degree in Information Security from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2014 to 2017. In 2006 and 2007, they attended Politihøgskolen again to study Digital Forensics, earning 30 ECTS credits.

In addition to their formal education, Jens Kristian Roland has also acquired several certifications. Jens Kristian became an ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer through EY Certify Point in January 2018. In May 2016, they obtained the EnCE (EnCase Certified Examiner) certification from Guidance Software.
