Leidy Lagos

Leidy Lagos is a seasoned professional in the field of fish immunology and R&D project management, currently serving as a Product Owner at AKVA group since January 2023. Prior to this role, Leidy held the position of Researcher Project Manager at Skretting, where responsibilities included leading R&D projects on health and nutrition, validating new products, and driving innovation. Experience at NMBU involved project management in studies related to the immunostimulant properties of alternative protein sources for farm animals. Previous roles also include Senior Researcher and Postdoctoral Scientist at leading universities, contributing to significant research in aquaculture and immunology. Leidy holds a PhD in Fish Immunology from UiT-The Arctic University of Norway and additional qualifications in Bioquímica and Biotechnology from Universidad de Chile.
