Jamie Barber

Jamie Barber started their work experience at ICI Paints in 2002 as a Credit Control - Account Administrator. Jamie then worked as an Assistant Development Manager and Assistant Brand Manager for Trade Woodcare and Pre-Deco. Jamie later became a Brand Manager for Trade Woodcare and Cuprinol Woodcare.

In 2008, Jamie moved to AkzoNobel and started as a Brand Manager for Pre-Deco and later became a Senior Brand Manager for Polycell and Polycell Trade. Jamie then transitioned into the role of Customer Business Manager for Focus DIY and Grocery and New Distribution, where they managed key accounts such as Tesco, Asda, and Sainsbury's.

In 2012, Jamie became a Regional Sales Manager for the South West of England, overseeing volume, value, and margin performance among trade and construction businesses. Jamie managed a team of 10 individuals responsible for direct sales and brand specification.

In 2014, Jamie became a Senior Customer Marketing Manager for AkzoNobel before joining Dulux Decorator Centre in 2016 as a National Sales Manager. In this role, they played a crucial part in expanding the business, managing a growing team, and developing sales processes.

Currently, Jamie works as the Professional Brands Lead at AkzoNobel, starting in 2022.

Jamie Barber attended the European College of Business from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained a HNC in Business Studies. Subsequently, they pursued a BA in Business Management & Marketing at Buckinghamshire New University from 2005 to 2007.
