Promise Katondo

Promise Katondo is an experienced professional with a diverse background in operations, customer service, education, and leadership. Currently serving as the Senior Operations Coordinator at Big Easy Contracting since January 2020, Promise also holds a position as a Call Center Representative at Al Andalus Trading Company since July 2018. In addition, Promise has been the Secretary General at Umoja Arts Theatre since May 2013, and previously worked as an Installation Technician at Alghanim Industries from November 2015 to March 2018. Earlier career roles include Commissioner at the National Bank of Malawi (February 2014 - December 2015), Teacher at the Ministry of Education Malawi (January 2011 - December 2013), and Regional Chairman for Youth Action Movement (June 2008 - June 2010), focusing on youth and HIV/AIDS, family planning education, politics, and human rights. Promise's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching from Kasungu Teachers College and a certificate in Leadership and Discipleship from Laif Theology School.
