Rima Maktabi

Rima Maktabi is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in broadcasting and reporting, currently serving as the London Bureau Chief for Al Arabiya News Channel since October 2012, where coverage focuses on news in the U.K. Prior to this role, Rima held positions as a Senior Anchor and Roving Correspondent at CNN from May 2010 to July 2012, and as a Senior Anchor and News Reporter at Al Arabiya News Channel from November 2005 to May 2010. Earlier experience includes an anchoring role at Future TV from September 1996 to October 2005. Rima Maktabi earned a Master of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from the Lebanese American University between 1997 and 2001 and completed education at the Lebanese Evangelical School from 1980 to 1996.
