Maria Alithea Cruz is an experienced professional in the hospitality industry, currently serving as the Complex Senior Sales Manager for Al Habtoor City Hotel Collection since October 2022, after previously holding the position of Complex Catering Sales Manager. With a strong background in event management, Maria has worked as a Lifestyle Events Manager at Emaar Hospitality Group and as a Senior Events Manager during the pre-opening phase for Conrad Hotels & Resorts. Earlier roles include Events Executive positions at JW Marriott Dubai and InterContinental Dubai Festival City, along with a Business Center Supervisor role during the pre-opening of InterContinental Dubai Festival City. Maria began the career as a Property Management Systems Manager at Days Hotel Philippines. Maria holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Philippine Christian University, completed in 2001.
