Mohamad Bitar

Mohamad Bitar, MD, FACS, is a clinical professor at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences since November 2020, and serves as an adjunct clinical professor. Bitar holds the position of consultant pediatric otolaryngologist at Dubai Health, starting in July 2022, and has been the director of research and audit as well as chief of pediatric otolaryngology at Al Jalila Children's Specialty Hospital since September 2015. Previous positions include consultant otolaryngology head and neck surgery at Dubai Healthcare City and adjunct clinical associate professor at the American University of Beirut. Bitar has extensive experience in the field having served as a consultant and surgeon in various capacities since 2002, including at the Children's Hospital at Westmead in Australia. Bitar completed high school education at Freres Maristes de Fatima in Lebanon.
