Muhammad Imran Bashir began their work experience in 2006 as an Audit Supervisor at Deloitte, where they gained extensive experience in auditing financial, insurance, manufacturing, and service industries. Their responsibilities included planning and managing audits, ensuring compliance with management policies and statutory requirements, and reviewing financial statements for compliance with local laws and International Accounting Standards.
In 2011, they joined RSA as an Assistant Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, where they played a key role in developing strategic plans, producing financial management information, and leading various projects for operational effectiveness and capability development. Muhammad Imran later became the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, with dual reporting lines to RSA Group and KSA management.
Most recently, Bashir joined Al Rajhi Takaful in 2018 as the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis. Muhammad Imran has held several roles within the company, including Associate Vice President - Finance, IFRS 17 Implementation Lead, Chief Financial Officer Acting, and currently Vice President Finance.
Muhammad Imran Bashir holds a CMA degree in Accounting and Finance from the Institute of Certified Management Accountants. Muhammad Imran also obtained a degree in Accounting, Finance & Auditing from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and became an Associate Member of the Institute of Public and Finance Accountants of Pakistan (APA). Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of the Punjab. In 2015-2016, they obtained another CMA degree in Accounting and Finance from the Institute of Management Accountants.
