Carolyn Bern

Carolyn Bern currently serves as the Director of Governmental Affairs and Community Relations at the Alabama Department of Public Health, a position held since August 2019. Previously, Carolyn worked as an Outreach Coordinator at both the Alabama Department of Public Health and the Office of Primary Care and Rural Health until July 2023. Carolyn holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University, completed between 1976 and 1980, and is pursuing a Master in Public Administration at Auburn University at Montgomery, with studies ongoing since July 2010.
