Ukawia Johnson, LMSW, currently serves as the Program Director for the American Society for Deaf Children (ASDC) since June 2023, while also holding positions as a Licensed Social Worker at the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind since September 2018 and at the State of Alabama since September 2009. Ukawia holds a Master of Social Work from The University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Troy University. Additionally, a Graduate Certificate in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Infants, Toddlers and their Families was obtained from Gallaudet University between May 2021 and June 2022, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Faulkner University.
