Richard Egli

Richard Egli is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in venture capital, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. As a General Partner at Emend Vision Fund since April 2022, Richard focuses on early-stage companies that create significant environmental and sustainability impacts. Richard has been the CEO of Alacrity Canada since January 2014, driving the strategic direction and managing programs that have generated over $500 million in value for the Canadian tech ecosystem. Additional roles include investor and board member positions at Carbon Neutral Club, Geoteknica, Certn, Tutela, Echosec Systems, and Encepta, all contributing to various successful ventures. Richard also serves as President of Providence Holdings Ltd., overseeing technology and real estate investments in North America. Richard holds multiple advanced degrees in business administration and renewable energy.
