Hena Borneo has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. From November 2012 to the present, they have served as the Medical Director of Care Management at Alameda Health System. In this role, they oversee the management of patient care. Additionally, they worked as an Attending Hospitalist Physician at the same organization from November 2012 to July 2023. Before joining Alameda Health System, Hena worked as an Attending Physician Hospitalist at Alameda Health Medical Group starting in October 2012. Hena Borneo attended Stanford University from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology. Following this, they pursued a Master's of Public Health (MPH) degree with a specialization in Public Health and Infectious Diseases from the University of California, Berkeley, from 1996 to 1998. Their education continued at the Western University of Health Sciences from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in the field of Medicine.
