Kevin Shorten

Kevin Shorten has extensive experience in the field of healthcare information systems and project management. Kevin has worked at various organizations throughout their career, including Alameda Health System, Cedars-Sinai, Anne Arundel Medical Center, UM Shore Regional Health, GE, MEDITECH, Temple Health – Temple University Health System, and Childrens Seashore House Child.

At Alameda Health System, Shorten served as the Vice President of Applications, where they were responsible for directing all activities related to applications and product management. Kevin collaborated with medical chiefs to develop an Enterprise Imaging strategy and successfully delivered multiple Epic version releases.

During their time at Cedars-Sinai, Shorten held several roles, including Executive Director of Enterprise Information Services and Director of Enterprise Information Services. Kevin played a key role in developing strategic plans, implementing Epic applications, and overseeing a team of managers and consultants.

Earlier in their career, Shorten held positions at Temple Health – Temple University Health System and Childrens Seashore House Child, where they focused on nutrition education and supervision.

Kevin Shorten completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics/Dietitian at Drexel University's College of Nursing and Health Professions. Kevin also earned a Certificate of Achievement in Six Sigma Green Belt from Villanova University in 2007.
