Julie Simon

Julie Simon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy formulation, business planning, and mentoring. Currently serving as a Strategy and Planning Specialist at the Alannah & Madeline Foundation and a Strategy and Business Executive at Business Strategy Consultants since 2019, Julie provides support in performance measurement and grant application processes. Julie also mentors CEOs of charities through Kilfinan Australia. Previous roles include General Manager and Strategic Planning Manager at Feltex Carpets, Commercial Manager at StartWarrior Pty Ltd, and Business Analyst in both the energy and banking industries in Australia. Julie’s career began in South Africa with Price Waterhouse, followed by strategic roles with THORN EMI plc in Europe. Academically, Julie holds a B.Com and B.Acc from the University of the Witwatersrand and a certificate in Art Appreciation from The Art Institute. Julie is a Chartered Accountant (SAICA).
