Carrie Wheeler has been working in the field of occupational therapy since 2006. Carrie began their career at Florida Therapy Solutions as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist-Private School in 2006. Carrie then moved to The Weston Group Inc. as an Occupational Therapist, Geriatrics in ALF in 2007. In the same year, they also worked at Pathways for Learning as a Doctor of Pediatric Occupational Therapist, Lead Therapist-Outpatient. In 2010, they started working at Orthopaedic & Rehab Specialists of Iowa as an Occupational Therapist, Geriatrics. In 2011, they joined Central Rehabilitation as an Occupational Therapist, Home Health & LTC. Pediatric to Geriatric. In 2016, they began working at Sante Operations as a Clinical Educator and Compliance Auditor. In 2021, they were promoted to Executive Director at Alante. Currently, they are the Vice President Operations at Alanté.
Carrie Wheeler obtained their Doctorate of Occupational Therapy in Pediatrics from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences between 2004 and 2007. Carrie also obtained their Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy/Therapist from the same university between 2004 and 2006.
