Julia Bastian

Product Lead - Research & Innovation at Alasco

Julia Bastian has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Julia most recently served as the Vice President of Product at Alasco starting in February 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Product at Alasco from October 2020 until February 2022. Julia also worked as a UX Researcher at Alasco from September 2019 until October 2020, where they conducted qualitative and quantitative research.

Julia also has experience in education, working as a Lecturer for Agile Working Methods & Design Thinking at IMC Fachhochschule Krems from January 2019 until December 2021.

In addition, Julia worked as an Innovation Consultant & Agile Coach at HYVE - the innovation company from January 2017 until August 2019. Earlier in their career, they served as a Product & Marketing Manager at Akademie für systemische Führung, where they developed leadership programs and established outreach campaigns.

Julia has also held leadership positions, including being the Head of Student Management Consulting at INSTEAD - Student Management Consulting and as a Student Trainee in roles such as People Development and Executive Search at von Rundstedt. Julia also gained experience through an internship in International Aftersales at BMW Group and as a Student Trainee in Technical Sales at SEW Eurodrive.

Julia Bastian has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Business Administration from Universität Passau. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Psychology from Hochschule Fresenius. Julia also participated in a study abroad program at City College of San Francisco, where they focused on Personnel Psychology.

In addition to their formal education, Julia has obtained certifications in various areas. Julia is a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum.org, which they obtained in September 2019. Julia is also a Systemic Coach, having completed their certification from GST Gesellschaft für Systemische Therapie und Beratung München GmbH in April 2019.
