John Marx has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. John started their career at Alaska Communications in 2012 as a Sales and Service Representative, excelling in providing customer service solutions. John later moved into roles such as Business Sales and Service, Wireless Order Processing, and Business Sales and Service in the call center, where they specialized in troubleshooting and finding solutions for clients. In 2015, they transitioned to a role as a Workforce, Reporting and Data Analyst, where they provided data-driven answers to leadership and automated processes within the call center. In 2018, they joined T-Mobile as a Customer Service Associate before returning to Alaska Communications in 2018. In their second stint at Alaska Communications, John held positions as a Business Analyst and Financial Analyst. John worked closely with various departments and provided insights through analytics and automation. In 2020, they took on the role of Senior Corporate Analytics Specialist, utilizing Power BI, Esri ArcGIS, and network strategy to support the executive team and other departments. John Marx attended Parkwood High School from 2003 to 2007. After completing high school, they enrolled at LeTourneau University and studied Computer Science with a focus on Network Security from 2007 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, John obtained a certification in CompTIA A+ from CompTIA in May 2006.
