Kent Craford has a broad range of work experience, spanning various roles and industries. Kent started their career as a Staff Assistant for U.S. Senator Slade Gorton in 1999 and then served as a Principal at Gallatin Public Affairs from 2001 to 2007. In 2007, they became the Founding President & CEO of SeaPort Airlines before moving on to be the Primary Campaign Manager and Policy Director for Chris Dudley for Governor in 2010. From 2002 to 2013, they worked as a Director for the Portland Water Users Coalition and held the position of Chief Petitioner for the Portland Public Water District Initiative from 2013 to 2014. In 2011, they became the President of Alaska Seaplanes and the Chairman of the Kalinin Family of Companies. Lastly, in 2013, they became the President of Citizens for Water Accountability, Trust & Reform.

Kent Craford earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Political Economy from the University of Puget Sound. Kent attended the university from 1994 to 1998.
