Thomas Ittershagen

Thomas Ittershagen has a diverse work experience in various companies. Thomas started their career at Chemetall as a Project Engineer in April 2011 and worked there until January 2012. Thomas then joined Rockwood Lithium GmbH as a Project Manager in January 2012 and continued in that role until August 2015. Thomas then moved to Albemarle Corporation, where they worked as an Organometalic Manufacturing Advisor from August 2015 to June 2016. Thomas later transitioned to the role of Process Safety Advisor at Albemarle Corporation from June 2016 to March 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Operations Engineering at Albemarle Corporation, starting from June 2022.

Thomas Ittershagen completed their education at the Technische Universität Braunschweig, where they obtained a Diplom-Ingenieurin (Dipl.Ing.) degree in Bioengineering from 2000 to 2006. Thomas then pursued further studies at the Institut für Partikeltechnik, also at TU Braunschweig, earning a Dr. Ing. degree in Bulk Material Technology from 2006 to 2011.
