Claire S. has extensive experience in legal affairs, currently serving as Director of Law (Strategy & Services) and Associate General Counsel at AESO since May 2013. Previously, Claire held roles such as Director, Legal & Regulatory Affairs (Transmission and Commercial) and Legal Manager, Commercial & Procurement at AESO, providing strategic legal advice on corporate, commercial, and procurement issues. Prior to AESO, Claire practiced as an Associate at Norton Rose Canada, focusing on technology, innovation, and infrastructure, including procurement and intellectual property matters. Claire began legal training as a Student-at-Law at Macleod Dixon LLP and holds a Juris Doctor degree from The University of British Columbia, along with a Master's in Environmental Microbiology and a Bachelor's in Cellular, Molecular, and Microbial Biology.
