Jie Qiu

Jie Qiu is an experienced engineer currently serving as a Senior Project Engineer at AESO since June 2006, with roles including Customer Access Studies Engineer, Engineer/Senior/Lead Engineer in Operations Coordination, and EMS/Power System Network Application Engineer. Prior to this, Jie Qiu worked at the State Grid Corporation of China from July 1998 to June 2003 in various engineering capacities related to power systems, substations, and SCADA. Jie Qiu holds a Master of Science degree from Lakehead University (2003-2006) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Northeast Electric Power University (1994-1998).
