Kristie O'Brien

Kristie O'Brien is an experienced administrative professional currently serving as the Senior Executive Assistant to the President & CEO and the AESO Board at the Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO) since May 2017. In this role, Kristie O'Brien provides comprehensive executive-level support, including managing confidential information, calendars, travel arrangements, and event logistics. Prior to joining AESO, Kristie O'Brien held positions as an Executive Assistant at ATCO Power Canada Ltd. and as an Administrative Assistant at UBS Commodities Canada Ltd., where responsibilities included supporting senior executives, managing communication, and organizing meetings and travel. Kristie O'Brien holds a Secretarial Business Diploma with a focus on Administrative Assistant and Secretarial Science from St. Patrick's High School.
