Marek Dominski

Marek Dominski is a seasoned Tailings Engineer currently employed at the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) since October 2021, with extensive experience in the field of engineering and management. Previous positions include Manager of a self-employed venture since August 2018, and various engineering roles at Suncor Energy, where Marek held the title of Tailings Technical Manager for Fort Hills from November 2010 to August 2018. Additional experience encompasses leadership roles at Shell Albian Sands and Shell - Jack Pine Mine, as well as significant tenures at SGS, Alberta Energy Regulator (AER), and Syncrude Canada Ltd. Marek holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the University of Toronto, completed between 1981 and 1985.
