Tim Shannon

Tim Shannon is an experienced investigator with a background in law enforcement and regulatory affairs. Since July 2017, Tim Shannon has been serving as an Investigator at the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER). Prior to this role, Tim Shannon was an Investigator with the Alberta Serious Incident Response Team from November 2011 to June 2017. Tim Shannon's career began in the Calgary Police Service, where Tim Shannon worked as a Detective from January 1991 until June 2017. Tim Shannon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Calgary, obtained between 1985 and 1990.
