Marc Gold

Marc Gold has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Marc started their career as a Medical Assistant at Sound Family Medicine in 2008, where they were responsible for various tasks such as triage, vaccinations, and medical billing. During their time there, they implemented pre-registration patient data collection sheets to improve efficiency and assembled medical information packets to enhance patient compliance.

In 2010, Marc joined TRA Medical Imaging as a Referral Coordinator and Patient Access Specialist. Marc excelled in managing authorizations with insurance payers, handling financial counseling, and collecting self-pay balances. Additionally, they served as a lead trainer, successfully training new hires and temporary workers.

Marc's most recent role was at Albertina Kerr Centers, where they served as the Director of Revenue Cycle. Marc'sresponsibilities included overseeing a team performing revenue cycle tasks, managing payer contracts, and creating revenue tracking reports and budgeting tools for the leadership team.

Throughout their career, Marc has demonstrated strong organizational and leadership skills, as well as a commitment to improving efficiency and patient care.

Marc Gold has a Bachelor's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Phoenix, which they obtained from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended the Community College of Allegheny County from 2004 to 2008, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Marc also received a Diploma of Education in Medical/Clinical Assistant from the Community College of Allegheny County from 2004 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Marc Gold obtained certifications including Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) in July 2021 and Green Belt Certification (GB) from CareOregon in March 2017.
